EASE: EQUINE ASSISTED SOMATIC EXPERIENTIALS
Equinimity’s EASE combines principles from Natural Horsemanship and Somatic Trauma Therapies with healthy relational communication practices including presence and healthy boundaries. EASE offers an experiential and felt-sense understanding (body-knowing in addition to cognitive knowing) that supports healing and integration from developmental and complex trauma. Each experience is tailored to the needs of the individual or small group, providing a unique, impactful offering.
WHAT WE ARE CENTERING
At the heart of early relational childhood trauma is the wound of not being seen, not feeling a sense of worth, not realizing a sense of belonging. And throughout life, we may experience adversities that generate displacement, disembodiment, and shame. These experiences challenge our self worth, thwart our creativity, discourage us from embodying ourselves fully and inhibit us from living into our capacity to be in our true, full, authentic self.
Here at Equinimity, we hope that we can be a place where people can find belonging and reconnect to the worth and truth of themselves. Through healthy secure-based attachments, nature, art, and rhythm, we support people in discovering ways to increase self-care and ultimately, finding their way back home to themselves.
We are fortunate to work alongside our four-legged partners on this journey. Horses are known to mirror behavior and emotions, which in turn, encourages people to be present and maintain a level of self-awareness. Horses offer us endless opportunities to connect with a sense of ease, calm, safety, vulnerability and partnership that is innate to us all.
We invite you to watch the video below to learn more about Equinimity and the EASE.

- For an individual or Family - $5,500 to $6,500
- For 2 or more $2,750 to $3,250 each
We can work with up to 8 individuals per EASE Immersive group. Upon registration to the program, we request a $500 non-refundable deposit. We ask for payment in full by the start of the program. Payment is non-refundable for cancellations 2 weeks prior to the start of the program.
As per all of our programs we offer discounted rates on an as-needed and with a sustainable-for-all intent. Please don’t hesitate to inquire about this on your Zoom call with Barbara and or Jeanie.

- One of us at Equinimity will coordinate with you to schedule an introduction call via Zoom.
- During the call, we will discuss what offerings and experiences you would like, what you can expect, and any questions or concerns you may have.
